Patrizio enters the Old Harbour Marina, right in the heart of Genoa, situated between the old dock and the aquarium ... not to be confused with the Old Wharf, which is on the other side! The casual yachter that lands here finds himself directly in the centre of the city, a characteristic that makes Genoa similar to the other great capitals that have grown in symbiosis with the sea, like Sydney or Auckland. Mooring the boat at the Old Harbour Marina means being right in the centre, yet it is a real harbour, open both to transit and to parking! There are 270 boat places, for boats from 10 to 65 metres long and with no draught problems (between 4 and 7 metres). There is also a small dock that can take boats from 5 to 7 metres long and a vast range of useful services for the yachter: mooring assistance, night guard and video surveillance, concierge for information, baggage transport with electric caddy, laundry ... The daily opportunities are all those that a high-level city centre can offer,: museums, exhibitions, old buildings to be visited, cultural occasions of many different types ... It is so well served that there are people that directly live in boats, taking advantage of the privileges of living on the water, but close to the terra firma!

A five-star harbour, also certified for excellence regarding environment and quality. Yes, but the prices? Not so dear! In the high season the transit of a 12-metre boat costs about 50 Euros a night, and that of a 15-metre boat 70. If you have been through Genoa thinking that only the privileged few could moor here, longstanding Genoese people, you were wrong! You can moor here too.
